CASE STUDY · ORLANDO, FL

AdventHealth Training Center

PRACTICE HOME OF THE ORLANDO MAGIC · WHERE MORKLAD STARTED

One wall. Too many suppliers.

THE PROJECT

A new training center for the Orlando Magic in downtown Orlando: practice courts, a 35,000-square-foot AdventHealth clinic, recovery pools and outdoor training space. Designed by HOK, built by Balfour Beatty.

THE WALL

Kingspan air & vapor barrier and Kooltherm insulation behind a Morin metal façade: X-16, F-12 and Flatstock panels in Fluropon Bone White and Dove Gray, installed by Randall Engineered Walls in 2022.

THE CHALLENGE

Two strong products, two separate divisions. Architect, GC and installer had to coordinate and purchase across multiple Kingspan companies just to close one wall assembly.

THE IDEA

What if the market could source the entire wall system, barrier to façade, from one supplier? One spec. One warranty. No extra coordination. That question became MorKlad.

"On this project, the specification called for Kingspan AVB and insulation, while Morin supplied the façade. Rather than the architect, GC and installer coordinating and purchasing from Morin, they had to buy from multiple Kingspan divisions.
